The Manitowish Waters Sno Skeeters Snowmobile Club will be holding their 17th Annual Winterfest Rendezvous, Saturday February 16, 2019. This event is held on Rest Lake just off of the Boat landing at Rest Lake Park on Hwy W, Just 1/4 mile north of Manitowish Waters. This is the area’s biggest Ice Fishing contest with Prizes awarded in 8 Categories. The ice fishing contest runs from 10:30 am until 5:30 pm. There are more chances to win raffle prizes if you Pre-register at Townline Sports or True Value Hardware. The tent will open at 9:30 for those who need to register for Ice Fishing. National Anthem/ Opening ceremony giveaway is at 10 am (must be present to win this raffle) Besides the ice fishing there are many other activities, In fact many people attend who do not fish. This is a family event with activities for all: Food and refreshments are served in a 40' x 40' heated tent; raffle items including: Ice Auger, Ice shack, generator, 2019 Arctic Cat Sno Pro 800cc (electric start and reverse) and many more items. There will be a hole in one contest and a hockey accuracy contest (2-3pm); Free Rides in our 2018 Tucker Groomer; All 5 of the "Famous Klements Racing Sausages" will be racing and available for photo opportunities. Live Music by Jusgtin Russell from 3-6pm inside our heated tent. Ice Fishing Awards and drawing for 2019 Arctic Cat Sno Pro 800cc raffle sled starting at 6pm (also inside our heated tent) The finale of this great day will be a spectacular Fireworks show on the ice. This event is held on the ice so dress accordingly. Parking is available in the Rest Lake Parking Lot. The Rendezvous (always held the Saturday of President’s weekend) has been a great success and very well attended. Fun for the whole family.
